In 2023, Anything is Possible's Digital Team took centre stage. Our mission? A hefty 20% boost in digital media fees. Challenge accepted!


 

Craig Starling, our new Head of Digital, quickly turned the team from a collection of great individuals - hungry upstarts and seasoned campaigners - into a single unified force. We synchronised everybody’s growth objectives and pointed them toward relentless growth. We invested heavily in L&D for everyone, leveraging our media partners for training support in soft and technical skills. We built out our tech stack with a custom resource dashboard, an AI-assisted briefing tool, and a breakthrough Big Query integration. These advances reduce repetitive, low-value tasks and free up the team for higher-order tasks, strategising, building relationships - and adding extra layers of value. We reinvested these newfound efficiencies back into the work, developing a dynamic pitch team for a more versatile and effective performance pitch squad and a fast track for our junior stars to rise. We nurtured our talent and raised our superstars, with our Social Director Emily Charlton-Smith becoming a LinkedIn Marketing Insider and a TikTok Advisory Board VIP. We also kept our eye on wider priorities, building our Carbon Calculator to measure, analyse and offset our media choices' carbon impact and move the industry into a sustainable future. We blew the roof off expectations, scoring a whopping 31% increase in performance media fees (£1.6m to £2.1m) in 2023, beating the hefty target by 11%.
